Custom Branding: Make This Site Look Completely Yours at First Glance

Custom Branding: Make This AI Site Look Completely Yours at First Glance

In the previous article, you have already created and opened the sub-site. But it still has the default appearance of Studio—default logo, default name, default color scheme. In this article, we will change it to yours.

Branding may seem trivial, but it is actually the "most cost-effective" step in white labeling: spend a few minutes, and your site transforms from "someone else's product" to "my product," making it appropriate for you to discuss it with clients and put it on your business card.

Where to Change: Site Settings

Return to the main site → Click the gear icon in the lower right corner to enter Settings → Open Site Settings. Most branding-related items are here.

Site Settings: Site name, Logo, Favicon, theme color (#ff210c), administrator, customer service contact information are all in this section

I will explain it in the "order users will see it," and you can change it accordingly.

1. Site Name

This is the most straightforward—browser tab, page title, and many places will display it.

Change it to your product name. Don't call it "Studio" or "Ace Data Cloud" anymore; use your own, like "Inspiration Studio" or "XX Smart Assistant."

Small suggestion: Keep the name short, easy to pronounce, and relevant to your audience. You want first-time visitors to know "what this is for" within 3 seconds.

  • Logo: Displayed in the upper left corner of the site, it is the face of the brand. Upload your own (transparent PNG is the most stable, looks good on both light and dark backgrounds).
  • Favicon: The small icon in the browser tab. Don't overlook it—though small, "whether it has been changed" can immediately indicate professionalism.

No ready-made logo? You can generate one using AI within this site (this is also the fun of white labeling: using it to create its own branding materials).

3. Theme Color / Color Scheme

Change the theme color to your brand color (the site in the screenshot uses #ff210c, change it to your own). With a main color, the buttons, highlights, and emphasis colors across the site will change, and the overall feel will be instantly different.

Don't be greedy. Just choose one main color for your brand; too many colors can make it look cluttered and template-like.

3.5 Going Further: Rename and Change Icons for Each App Individually

After changing the site-level branding, there is another layer of detail that many people don't know: each capability (app) can also have its name and icon changed individually.

Go to the Capabilities section, and each capability (Midjourney, Suno, Veo...) has a Customize app option on the right. Click in to set custom names and custom icons (PNG/JPEG/WebP, square crop):

Customize app: Customize name and icon for individual capabilities

For example, rename "Midjourney" to "AI Painting" in your site and pair it with your own icon; rename "Suno" to "One-Click Songwriting." This way, users see a complete set of capabilities named by you instead of a bunch of unrecognizable third-party names—brand consistency is instantly improved.

For specifics on which capabilities to enable and how much to charge for each, I will discuss it in "What to Sell, How Much to Sell It For"; here you just need to know "names and icons can be changed."

4. Customer Service / Contact Information

Many people overlook this step, but it is actually crucial: replace the default customer service contact with your own—your WeChat, your email, your customer service group.

Think through this chain: User encounters a problem on your site → Looks for customer service → Finds you. This way, you truly capture this customer relationship instead of sending them back to the platform.

5. (Optional) SEO Settings

If you plan to have this site indexed by search engines and attract customers through organic traffic, take a moment to fill out the SEO Settings: site title, description, keywords, share card image.

This part is not mandatory, but if you want to do content marketing and be found, it is worth spending a few minutes. I will discuss how to drive traffic in the connector/content marketing series.

After Changes, Check in Incognito Window

After making changes, don’t view it in your logged-in state—open an incognito window, directly visit your domain / your prefix.studio.acedata.cloud, and go through it from the perspective of a "new visitor":

  • Is the logo mine?
  • Is the tab icon and title mine?
  • Is the color scheme correct?
  • When I click customer service, does it lead to me?

If all four are correct, this step is complete.

About "Completely Incognito," the Same Truth Applies

After changing the branding, the site already looks very much like your own. Moreover, there are now more places that can be changed than before—even your own domain (CNAME + automatic HTTPS) and the SMS signature for phone number login can be changed to yours. But as I mentioned in the overview, I want to emphasize again: it is currently not possible to achieve 100% incognito. The main reason is that the login process still goes through the auth.acedata.cloud domain, and the developer-facing API/CDN domain is still the platform's; we are clearing this up gradually.

What can be changed and how to change it (including SMS signatures) will be discussed in the dedicated article "One-Click Hide Platform Traces."

Next article: "Bind Your Own Domain." The subdomain your prefix.studio.acedata.cloud is already available, but to make it more formal and look like a real product, link your own domain (like ai.yourbrand.com)—I will guide you through the CNAME + automatic HTTPS step.
