When it comes to image generation, what truly affects the result: the underlying model, or the Agent behind the model?

To make the answer as intuitive as possible, we designed a lightweight yet targeted challenge: we gave the complete lyrics of the song You Are Everything and the same cover creation requirements to Ace Data Cloud Studio and WorkBuddy, respectively. Throughout the process, we did not repeatedly modify the prompts or manually intervene in composition and style, allowing the two AI Agents to independently complete lyric interpretation, visual planning, Prompt rewriting, and image generation.

This is not simply a comparison of “who draws more beautifully.” For YouTube video covers, the image not only needs to look good, but also needs to quickly convey the mood of the song at thumbnail size, allowing the title, characters, and background to jointly create click appeal. Therefore, what we care about more is: who understands You Are Everything better, and who can transform the companionship, protection, glimmers of light, harbor, and lifelong devotion in the lyrics into a more complete visual story.

Challenge Rules: Less Intervention, See How the Agents Interpret It Themselves

In this test, Ace Data Cloud Studio used GPT-5.6 Sol to complete task analysis; WorkBuddy enabled Ultimate Mode, using GLM-5.3 for understanding and planning in this round of tasks. From the perspective of theoretical capabilities, there is no obvious generation gap between the language models on both sides, and WorkBuddy may even have an advantage in some complex reasoning scenarios.

To eliminate the impact caused by different image models, both sides ultimately used GPT Image 2 provided by Ace Data Cloud to generate images: Ace Data Cloud Studio directly invoked the image capability, while WorkBuddy invoked GPT Image 2 through the Ace Data Cloud OpenAI MCP service.

In other words, this challenge made every effort to place both sides on the same starting line:

  • The input content was the same
  • The creative goal was the same
  • The image ratio and quality requirements were the same
  • The image generation model ultimately used was the same
  • Results were not manually corrected through multiple rounds of prompts

With these conditions being basically identical, the final differences are more likely to come from how the Agents understand the task: whether they can grasp the core emotion of the lyrics, whether they proactively extract imagery suitable for cover expression, whether they understand the visual logic of YouTube thumbnails, and what kind of generation Prompt they organize for GPT Image 2.

The Same Task, Given to Two Agents Separately

We first entered the complete requirements in Ace Data Cloud Studio, allowing the Agent to independently analyze the lyrics and invoke GPT Image 2.

WorkBuddy used the same input content, but the image generation stage needed to invoke GPT Image 2 from Ace Data Cloud OpenAI MCP. This both retained WorkBuddy’s own understanding and task-planning capabilities, while also ensuring that the final image output came from the same image model.

The Complete Prompt Used in This Test

Create a cover image for YouTube video publishing based on the lyrics below. It must be creative enough, with both the characters and background having a strong sense of imagery, and should create an effect that makes people feel the urge to click the moment they see it. The cover should have a large title + a subtitle generated by extracting the most suitable lyrics. The main title should use an artistic font, 16:9, 4K quality, and be created using GPT image2.
Title: You Are Everything
Lyrics:
You are the light that wakes the window lattice in the morning
You are the gentle sweetness gradually warming in my cup
You are the bookmark left in the folded corner of a book
You are the longing I can never finish writing beneath my pen

All the ordinary becomes vivid because of you
All drifting comes to rest because of you

So I am willing to become your eaves
Shielding you from every sudden rainstorm and bitter wind
Even if time turns black hair into white snow
As long as I can keep warm by your side
This life will no longer leave regrets

You are the glimmer of light tightly held in my palm
You are the brightness that cannot be hidden in my eyes
You are the gentlest sound beside my ear
You are the softest bed curtains in my dreams

All quietness burns passionately because of you
All cowardice becomes brave because of you

So I am willing to become your wings
Accompanying you as you fly across the boundless ocean
Even if the world hides away every star
As long as you are within my sight
The night will no longer be long

When all prosperity gradually fades away
When the sea of people becomes a desolate shore
You are the only answer I hold tightly
The most peaceful harbor deep within my soul
No matter how the wind and rain change
You are the only direction I recognize

So I am willing to burn away this life
Only to light up the road ahead for you
Even if in the end there is only the echo of an hourglass
As long as I can hear you call my name
It is the most perfect completeness

Looking into your eyes
Holding your hands
Even if all things reach their end
I will still say
You are my...
Only everything...

This prompt deliberately retains a large amount of creative space. We did not specify the characters’ ages, clothing, specific scenes, lens focal length, or color palette, nor did we directly tell the Agents whether they should use “morning light,” “harbor,” or “starry sky.” This means they cannot merely forward the request mechanically, but need to first make a creative judgment: extract the theme from the long lyrics, then turn abstract emotions into visual language that the image model can execute.

Patiently Waiting for the Task to Be Completed

After submitting the task, we did not add any further requirements. The Agent needed to first read the lyrics, choose a subtitle, plan the main subject and background of the image, then generate a Prompt suitable for GPT Image 2, and wait for the image task to return.

For this type of task, “starting to call tools” does not mean that the creation has already been completed. Only after the final image successfully returns can we examine whether the Agent truly balances the artistic conception of the lyrics, cover composition, title layout, and click appeal.

Below is the execution result from Ace Data Cloud Studio.

Image generated by Ace Data Cloud From the execution process, it can be seen that Ace Data Cloud Studio does not simply pass the original requirements directly to the image model. Instead, it first organizes the visual direction around the song theme. Although there are many elements in the lyrics, such as “light,” “eaves,” “dim light,” “vast ocean,” “starlight,” and “harbor,” if they are all piled into the image, the cover can easily lose its focus. What the Agent needs to do is make choices and unify multiple images into a scene that viewers can quickly understand.

Generated image

Judging from the final image, Ace Data Cloud Studio has a relatively clear understanding of “this is a song video cover.” The relationship between the characters carries the emotional expression, the background supplements the story atmosphere, and the title maintains a relatively high visual weight. The image does not remain at the level of an ordinary romantic character illustration, but instead attempts to present a sense of companionship that transcends time, storms, and a long life.

What is particularly worth noting is that it extracts the core of the lyrics in a relatively focused manner. You Are Everything expresses not only passionate love, but also a long-term promise of “still choosing the same direction after the world has changed.” The cover needs to be gentle, but it cannot lack strength; it needs romance, but it also needs a sense of steadfastness capable of carrying the entire song.

WorkBuddy’s Understanding and Generated Result

After enabling extreme mode, WorkBuddy also completed lyric analysis, task breakdown, and image tool invocation. It used GLM-5.3 to organize the generation requirements and called GPT Image 2 through Ace Data Cloud OpenAI MCP.

From the task process, WorkBuddy was able to correctly identify that this was not an ordinary text-to-image requirement, but a composite task consisting of “lyric understanding, cover planning, text design, and image generation.” It also captured key emotions such as romance, companionship, warmth, and long-term protection, rather than generating a generic couple image unrelated to the lyrics.

WorkBuddy’s final work likewise has a high level of completion. The characters, environment, and overall color palette can convey the romantic quality of the song, while the title and main subject also form a relatively complete cover structure. For conventional YouTube music publishing needs, this image already has the foundation for direct use.

Its advantage lies in the fact that the image is easy to understand and its emotional expression is direct. At first glance, viewers can tell that this is a song about love and companionship. In comparison, its expression of deeper images in the lyrics, such as “harbor,” “direction,” and “remaining together after the storms,” is somewhat more restrained, but the overall result is still commendable.

The Original Images Have Been Compressed, Which One Do You Prefer?

Because the original image sizes are relatively large, the versions shown in this article have been compressed. The local details and clarity on the page cannot fully represent the original 4K images.

If you only look at the first impression, do you prefer Ace Data Cloud Studio’s version or WorkBuddy’s version?

There is no single answer to this. Different viewers have different criteria for judging covers: some pay more attention to whether the characters look natural, some prefer the color atmosphere, and others first check whether the title is sufficiently eye-catching in the thumbnail.

If we start from the actual use scenario of a YouTube cover, the following points can be observed:

  1. Whether the main characters form a visual focal point at first glance
  2. Whether the image can convey the song’s general emotion without reading the lyrics
  3. Whether the background provides a sense of story rather than being mere decoration
  4. Whether the title, characters, and background compete for attention
  5. Whether the cover can create an impulse to click among similar music videos

With the Same GPT Image 2, Why Are the Results Still Different?

The most worthy point of discussion in this test is that both sides ultimately used the same image model, yet the works still presented different visual choices.

The reason is that what the image model usually receives is not all of the content initially entered by the user, but generation instructions reorganized after the Agent has understood the requirements. Before image generation actually begins, the Agent has already made a series of decisions:

  • Which lyric is suitable as a subtitle
  • Which images should enter the composition
  • Whether the characters should be in a close-up or distant view
  • Whether to emphasize gentleness, protection, or an epic feeling
  • How much space the title should occupy
  • How to organize the Prompt so that the image model can execute it accurately
  • How to balance “artistic quality” and “thumbnail click appeal”

Therefore, the image model determines the image execution capability, while the Agent, to a large extent, determines what to draw, why to draw it this way, and whether the final image truly answers the user’s question.

Conclusion of This Round: Ace Data Cloud Studio Has a Slight Edge

Both sets of results reached a usable level, and WorkBuddy’s tool invocation and image-generation performance also demonstrate that it can flexibly extend external image capabilities through MCP.

However, if the question is limited to “who better understands the cover creativity for You Are Everything,” in this round of testing, we believe Ace Data Cloud Studio has a slight edge.

This is not because it used a stronger image generation model. Both sides ultimately called GPT Image 2, and the difference comes more from the understanding and organization process before image generation. Ace Data Cloud Studio made more focused choices among the lyric imagery, expressed long-term companionship and steadfast protection more completely, and handled the title hierarchy, visual focus, and click appeal of a YouTube cover in a way that was closer to the objective of this task. WorkBuddy's result is still worthy of recognition. It successfully completed the full chain from understanding the lyrics to calling MCP. The image is intuitive, romantic, and has a good level of completion. If the song genre, artistic direction, or prompt were changed, the result of this round might not be repeated. Therefore, this is not an absolute ranking of the capabilities of the two products, but a single-round creative observation under the same input and the same image model conditions.

Summary

This You Are Everything cover challenge shows that the same underlying image model does not automatically produce the same work.

Between user input and the final image, there is also a very critical Agent creation chain: understanding the lyrics, extracting emotions, selecting imagery, planning the composition, organizing the Prompt, calling tools, and waiting for results. The choices made at any stage may change the final image.

In this round of comparison:

  • Both Agents received the same lyrics and cover requirements
  • Ace Data Cloud Studio used GPT-5.6 Sol to complete the task analysis
  • WorkBuddy enabled extreme mode and used GLM-5.3 for understanding and planning in this round
  • Both ultimately called Ace Data Cloud's GPT Image 2
  • Both generated YouTube covers with practical value
  • Ace Data Cloud Studio better met the expectations of this comparison in terms of lyrical artistic conception, visual narrative, and cover click appeal
  • WorkBuddy's MCP calling capability and final image are equally commendable

Models determine the upper limit of capabilities, while Agent design determines whether these capabilities can be properly mobilized. For content creators, when choosing AI tools, they cannot only look at “which model was used,” but also at whether it truly understands the task and can consistently transform vague creative intentions into usable work.
