The connectors currently built into WorkBuddy cannot yet cover features such as GPT Image 2, Suno music creation, and Google Search. If you need to use these services, you can connect to the MCP services provided by Ace Data Cloud.

The entire integration process mainly consists of two steps:

  1. Obtain a platform token in the Ace Data Cloud console.
  2. Configure the MCP service in WorkBuddy.

This article will introduce how to connect to Ace Data Cloud's MCP services in WorkBuddy, and use calling the Suno model to generate a song as an example to demonstrate the specific usage method of the service.

Security Tip: Please keep your platform token properly and do not publish it in articles, screenshots, public repositories, or chat records. If the platform token has been leaked, please immediately revoke it and create a new one in the console.

1. Obtain an Ace Data Cloud Platform Token

Open the Ace Data Cloud console:

Direct Link to the Ace Data Cloud Console

Ace Data Cloud Console

After entering the console, copy the platform token that needs to be used.

If you do not yet have a platform token, please click the Create button in the upper-right corner of the page and follow the prompts to create a new platform token.

2. Configure the MCP Service in WorkBuddy

WorkBuddy provides three MCP service configuration methods. You can choose any one:

  1. Configure through the MCP manager;
  2. Directly edit the configuration file;
  3. Let WorkBuddy complete the configuration automatically.

Method One: Configure Through the MCP Manager

Open WorkBuddy and go to the Experts > Skills > Connectors page in sequence.

Multiple available connectors are provided here. Click Custom Connector in the upper-right corner of the page to enter the connector configuration page.

WorkBuddy Connectors Page

At this point, the connector configuration pop-up window will be displayed. Below, Ace Data Cloud's Suno service is used as an example to demonstrate the specific configuration method.

Custom Connector Configuration Pop-up

Click the Add MCP button at the top of the page.

Add MCP Service

Add the following configuration code, and replace 你的平台令牌 in the code with the platform token copied just now:

"acedatacloud-suno": {
  "type": "http",
  "url": "https://suno.mcp.acedata.cloud/mcp",
  "headers": {
    "Authorization": "Bearer 你的平台令牌"
  },
  "description": "Suno AI 音乐生成(生成/续写/翻唱/歌词)"
}

After completing the configuration, click the Save button. Then return to the Connectors page, find and expand the Suno service that was just added.

When using it for the first time, WorkBuddy may require you to confirm whether you trust this service. After clicking the Trust button, you can view the related services provided by Suno.

Suno MCP Service List

At this point, you can call the Suno services provided by Ace Data Cloud in WorkBuddy.

Method Two: Directly Edit the Configuration File

This method is similar to the previous method, but requires directly modifying WorkBuddy's configuration file.

The default path of the configuration file is as follows:

C:\Users\你的用户名\.workbuddy\mcp.json

Add the following configuration to the existing MCP configuration:

"acedatacloud-suno": {
  "type": "http",
  "url": "https://suno.mcp.acedata.cloud/mcp",
  "headers": {
    "Authorization": "Bearer 你的平台令牌"
  },
  "description": "Suno AI 音乐生成(生成/续写/翻唱/歌词)"
}

Replace 你的平台令牌 in the code with the platform token copied from the Ace Data Cloud console, then save the file.

Note:

  • The code above is a JSON snippet that needs to be added to the existing configuration and is not necessarily a complete mcp.json file.
  • If other services already exist in the original configuration, you need to correctly add commas according to the JSON format.
  • Do not directly use this snippet to overwrite the entire configuration file.
  • It is recommended to back up the original mcp.json file before modifying it.
  • JSON format errors may prevent WorkBuddy from starting properly, so this method is more suitable for users with some computer knowledge.

Method Three: Let WorkBuddy Configure Automatically

You can also directly let WorkBuddy modify the MCP configuration.

Enter the following content in WorkBuddy's chat window:

请帮我配置 MCP 服务,配置如下:

"acedatacloud-suno": {
  "type": "http",
  "url": "https://suno.mcp.acedata.cloud/mcp",
  "headers": {
    "Authorization": "Bearer 你的平台令牌"
  },
  "description": "Suno AI 音乐生成(生成/续写/翻唱/歌词)"
}

Before sending, replace 你的平台令牌 with the platform token copied from the Ace Data Cloud console.

Afterward, WorkBuddy will automatically complete the configuration based on the above content. After the configuration is complete, you can open the MCP service list and expand the Suno service to view the currently available features.

Tip: You can directly ask WorkBuddy about the purpose, parameters, and calling methods of each Suno service. When using the automatic configuration method, please verify the content WorkBuddy is about to modify before execution to avoid incorrectly overwriting the existing configuration.

3. Call the Suno Model to Create a Song

After completing the Suno MCP service configuration, you can create songs in WorkBuddy.

Below introduces a basic usage method. The specific generation effect depends on the settings of prompts, song styles, tags, and other parameters.

3.1 Enter Song Creation Requirements

You can enter the following in the chat window:

请使用 Suno 为我创作一首歌曲。

To improve the match between the generated result and expectations, it is recommended to supplement the following information in the prompt:

  • Song theme;
  • Music style;
  • Singing language;
  • Singer gender or vocal characteristics;
  • Emotional atmosphere;
  • Tempo and rhythm;
  • Whether lyrics need to be generated automatically.

For example:

Enter Song Creation Requirements

3.2 Specify Ace Data Cloud's Suno Service

If you need to explicitly specify a service, you can enter:

Please use Ace Data Cloud's Suno model for creation.

WorkBuddy will read the configured MCP services and call the corresponding Suno service to execute the task.

Call Ace Data Cloud Suno Service

Song generation usually requires waiting several minutes. The actual time may be affected by factors such as the model, song length, and task queue.

3.3 Query Song Generation Status

If the song cannot be retrieved normally, or the task does not return results for a long time, you can ask WorkBuddy to call the task query service.

For example:

Please help me query the Suno song generation task that was just submitted.

Query Song Generation Task

After the task is completed, the song will be saved locally. Click the corresponding audio file to listen to it.

Below are the songs generated in this demonstration:

4. View Historical Tasks

Return to the Ace Data Cloud console and go to the Dashboard > Historical Tasks page to view the song generation task that was just submitted.

View Historical Tasks

On the Historical Tasks page, you can view the task status and related generation results.

Summary

Through the MCP services provided by Ace Data Cloud, you can conveniently extend WorkBuddy with external capabilities such as Suno.

The entire integration process mainly includes the following two steps:

  1. Create and copy the platform token in the Ace Data Cloud console;
  2. Add the MCP configuration in WorkBuddy and complete service authorization.

Using Suno music generation as an example, this article demonstrates the MCP service configuration, invocation, and task query process. Other MCP services can also be integrated in a similar way.

Ace Data Cloud's Suno service uses a pay-per-use billing model, with no need to subscribe to a monthly package. For actual pricing standards, please refer to the latest information in the Ace Data Cloud console and relevant technical documentation.

During the configuration process, please keep the platform token properly, and back up the original file before manually modifying the mcp.json file.
